Crossroad Philosophy

At Crossroad Community Church, we realize that there are many people searching for meaning and fulfillment in their lives who do not attend church for a variety of reasons. That is why we follow a “Jesus” style of ministry. Jesus was pressure-free, understandable, relevant, casual, loving, merciful, non-condemning, forgiving and gracious. At CCC, Jesus’ example is our sole model of ministry.

Ultimately, our product is hope. Our purpose is to connect folks to a one-on-one relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them discover their purpose and mission in the world. We promise that we won’t ask you to stand or put a visitor sticker on you, because Crossroad is a “hassle-free zone.”

We offer a service that makes sense about a God who is real.

What We Believe

The sole basis for our belief is the Bible, which teaches there is one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – each possessing all the attributes of the Deity.

God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way and doing their own deal. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to build a bridge back to God. Salvation comes only through God’s grace, not our efforts. It isn’t about being “good enough,” but must be received personally by believing, through faith, in God’s plan of salvation, and by turning away from the activities that separate us from God.

Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sins by dying on the cross as our substitute. Jesus is the bridge back! He accomplished salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone as the Leader of our life and our Savior. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. Someday He will return to earth to complete history.

The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church’s role is to glorify God by loving Him and loving others. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

Community Outreach

At Crossroad Community Church, our sense of community goes beyond meeting the needs of our church family. We are committed to seeking opportunities in the community that reach the unchurched and the needy. We believe that being good stewards of our own financial blessings means tithing back to others in our community, and toward that effort we allocate 10% of our annual tithes for Community Outreach projects each year.
